Our Vision + Purpose
We are a people carrying the mandate of Isaiah 61, where the Spirit of God is upon us to bring transformation. We want to see multiple thriving sites across London with Worship, Formation and Mission at their core. We believe that God is in the transformation business and we get to join in!
We are a community passionately pursuing God’s heart for our city through our ordinary everyday lives. We are Vineyard 61 Church, on mission to be a reflection of the heart and mind of God for a city in need of good news.
AUTHENTICITY
It’s easy to fake it, but we choose to be real with God and each other. Honesty and vulnerability create space for Jesus to meet and challenge us, as well as build deep, trusting relationships.
EXPECTANCY
We know the King is here. Therefore, we expect His miraculous power, intimate presence and answers to prayer at any moment!
HONOUR
Where there’s honour, people flourish. We recognise that everyone is valuable and empower each other to reach our God-given potential.
GENEROSITY
Lives are changed through generosity. God is extravagantly generous and as a reflection of Him we joyfully give our time, talents and finances.
FUN
We laugh easily and often, not taking ourselves too seriously! Having fun lifts burdens breaks down barriers and creates connection.
Our Story
Our journey began in 2015 with a small group of people meeting in a home with a vision to start a church that would bring life to London. We have grown to become the multisite church that we are today, with three physical sites meeting in Balham, Battersea and West Side.
If you’re looking for a church to call home, we would love to invite you to join us as we seek to bring transformation to our city. There are loads of ways to get involved at V61, whether that’s Sunday services, midweek groups, compassion projects, joining a team or coming along to one of our many sports or social events.

We are affiliated with Vineyard Churches UK and Ireland which exists to participate in the advancement of the Kingdom of God. We are a growing movement of churches, built on God’s transforming word, who worship God with passion, intimacy and expectation. We are God’s children, empowered by his Spirit, extending his Kingdom together, everywhere in every way.
