Philippians: Joy for Life

Philippians is a letter written by a suffering man (Paul) in prison to a people facing persecution. Yet – amazingly this short letter has almost 20 usages of the words ‘joy’ ‘rejoice’ or ‘gladness’! That’s almost 1 in 5 verses mentioning joy. Over four weeks, we will look at the New Testament book of Philippians, particularly from the angle of how we can be people of joy despite our circumstances. Do also feel free to draw out other nuggets from your chapter as you feel led.
