The Book of Amos

Over 5 weeks we will look at the book of Amos. We were particularly looking at what it has to teach us about God’s concern for the poor, and his desire for both worship and justice. We aim to help let the words of Amos form us into a people of justice who cannot see the legitimacy of our worship apart from an expression of love for the poor, the outcast, and the lost. That each person would engage with an expression of justice in some way, shape, or form in their own lives — whether through V61’s Compassion ministries or otherwise.
